About Us
Vision
To safeguard critical orbital infrastructure across Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and GEO through TRL-3 collision-avoidance telemetry while setting zero-trust cybersecurity and continuous ISO compliance benchmarks for Canadian enterprises and aerospace operators.
Mission
We engineer lab-validated debris mitigation modeling, continuous ISO readiness retainers, and defense-grade cybersecurity audits. By auditing polar-orbit satellite constellations and Canadian defense supply chains, we advance auditable digital resilience from ground to orbit.
Founder's Special

My name is Edward, founder of Mutabie Canada Inc. Based in British Columbia, I lead our team in securing mission-critical infrastructure at the intersection of orbital telemetry, zero-trust cybersecurity, and defense procurement readiness.
Our Journey
A timeline of Mutabie's journey from an idea to where we are today.

I was about 18/19 years old when I found my "Who I want to be when I grow up" moment. With this realization, I started researching online to find others with the same interest as me. Fun Fact, I started a business plan but never finished it because of school, so technically its taken years to finish the plan. But at least I knew what the problem was and the different solutions to it. Its just the money part I didn't write down

I founded Mutabie to be the starting point of the legal area in clearing space debris in space. I did go back to the business plan and adjusted it to current market trends, including the research papers I've been reading. I did reach out to people to provide a service for general funding. One person did reach out and that's when I had my first meeting with them. They weren't interested... But I still moved forward.

Founded this company to be the incorporated entity in handling the core operatios while being a limited liability company. It was a big step for me to take.

Frequently Asked Questions
Technical architecture, polar-orbit LEO compliance, and ISO readiness protocols.
ORBITAL CYBERSECURITY & DEBRIS MITIGATIONWhy is zero-trust cybersecurity required for Active Debris Removal (ADR) and polar-orbit LEO constellations?
In high-density polar Low Earth Orbit (LEO)—where constellations like Telesat Lightspeed intersect multiple orbital inclinations—rendezvous and proximity operations (RPOD) rely on autonomous telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) links. Without embedded zero-trust cryptographic authentication, an ADR servicer or LEO satellite is vulnerable to command-link hijacking, replay attacks, and signal spoofing by Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs). If compromised, a servicing satellite can be weaponized to trigger intentional collisions, accelerating the Kessler Syndrome rather than mitigating it.
ORBITAL CYBERSECURITY & DEBRIS MITIGATIONHow do satellite operators distinguish between a micro-debris impact and a cyber intrusion in orbit?
Most operators face 'orbital forensic blindness.' While ground radars track 40,000+ objects larger than 10 cm, over 128 million hazardous fragments (1 mm to 1 cm) remain untrackable from Earth. When an anomaly occurs, operators struggle to tell if a failure was caused by a sub-millimetre kinetic strike or a SPARTA-classified False Data Injection attack. Mutabie addresses this challenge by engineering TRL-3 lab-validated 3D micro-debris trajectory models and Rust-based telemetry verification protocols designed to assist operators in establishing a digital chain of custody before data reaches the ground station.
ORBITAL CYBERSECURITY & DEBRIS MITIGATIONWhat cybersecurity compliance standards apply to Canadian satellite operators and defense subcontractors in 2026?
Under the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) 2026–27 Departmental Plan and NORAD/NATO modernization frameworks, Canadian space missions require formal cybersecurity authorizations and auditable uplink security. Operators and subcontractors typically align with ISO/IEC 27001:2022, CAN/DGSI 104 (CyberSecure Canada), ISED spectrum security mandates, and the SPARTA matrix for spacecraft threat modeling.
ORBITAL CYBERSECURITY & DEBRIS MITIGATIONHow can polar-orbit LEO operators reduce collision-avoidance fuel burn without sacrificing mission assurance?
Mega-constellations execute tens of thousands of collision-avoidance maneuvers semi-annually, draining thruster propellant and shortening asset life. By combining polar-orbit debris avoidance modeling with cryptographic telemetry filtering, operators can significantly reduce false-positive conjunction alerts caused by sensor noise or unverified SSA feeds—helping conserve propellant and support compliance with deorbit guidelines and aerospace insurance underwriting criteria.
ISO READINESS & ENTERPRISE AUTOMATIONHow do BC tech, maritime, and aerospace suppliers prepare for an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 audit without a full-time CISO?
Organizations often fail Stage 1 or Stage 2 ISO audits due to unmapped Annex A controls, incomplete Statements of Applicability (SoA), or unpatched vulnerabilities. Instead of static paper checklists, Mutabie deploys automated technical readiness scanning—covering IAM, port/IP exposure, and vulnerability logging—paired with an $800/mo continuous compliance retainer designed to keep audit evidence continuously updated and organized.
ISO READINESS & ENTERPRISE AUTOMATIONWhy do US enterprise buyers and defense primes require ISO 27001 readiness from Canadian software vendors?
Enterprise procurement teams and Tier-1 aerospace primes treat third-party vendor software and APIs as a primary supply-chain attack surface. Demonstrating structured ISO readiness shows that your software development lifecycle, cloud data handling, and access controls align with international security due diligence, helping streamline enterprise procurement review.
ISO READINESS & ENTERPRISE AUTOMATIONHow does Automation as a Service (AaaS) lower the cost of regulatory and WorkSafeBC compliance?
Manual compliance logging drains engineering hours and leaves gaps in post-incident accountability. Mutabie engineers custom automation workflows designed to systematically capture, timestamp, and archive compliance records, safety reporting logs (including 2026 WorkSafeBC mandates), and security telemetry with tamper-evident audit trails—substantially reducing administrative overhead and manual logging friction.
ETHICAL GOVERNANCEDoes Mutabie Canada Inc. develop offensive cyber weapons for defense contracts?
No. Mutabie Canada Inc. is strictly governed by a binding Ethical Mission ('No War') Clause. All cybersecurity audits, digital forensic protocols, and orbital debris mitigation technologies are engineered exclusively for defensive infrastructure protection, regulatory compliance, and long-term orbital sustainability.
